Contrast

This morning, the Twin Cities awoke to a frightful sight outdoors. The world had turned white and colorless once again. There are those who actually welcome these short-lived cover ups. They find the look of white, clean snow covering the ground to be much more appealing than harsh browns and dirty streets.

I am not one of those people. I find the snow, while very pretty in early December, completely unacceptable in the middle of April.

Now if I sound like I am whining, I probably am. It as been a long hard winter for almost all who experience the season. An early start, extremely cold temps…. and a unbeleaveable amount of snow in this season has made ….. well it has turned mean and women into whining kids.

So this morning I decided to attempt to make lemon aide. There is still beauty in these snow cover trees.

One quick side note. This is the original color image I took this morning. It is not monochrome or processed as a sepia photo. The shot is simply void of any color.
