It was fun to watch the ducks as they came in to the Hidden Falls area. We were especially lucky as the river was at a fairly high point. This brought them in especially close to us.
In this shot, a young female had come in on a long approach for her landing. It was almost as if I could hear the communication between “plane” and “tower” as she announced her gear was down, flaps in place, and coasted to a three point drop onto the water.
